Tar Heel Service Day: Hands On Atlanta Discovery

Hands on Atlanta Discovery is a Saturday morning tutoring program that offers one-on-one and small-group enrichment activities for at-risk children. Volunteers will lead activities and help with reading and math for students in kindergarten through fifth grades. (Volunteers who speak Spanish are especially needed.) We'd love to have a total of 30 volunteers.
UNC vs. Georgia Tech Pre-Game Tailgate
The UNC General Alumni Association along with The Rams Club invite Carolina fans to a Pre-Game Tailgate Party that will start 2 1/2 hours before kickoff.
The party will take place in the Georgia Tech Student Center Ballroom on Georgia Tech's campus.
There will be a BBQ buffet including dessert and non-alcoholic beverages, giveaways, and visits by Rameses the mascot, the marching band, and cheerleaders. (If kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. or later, attendees over the age of 21 will have the option of purchasing beer and wine.)
The cost to attend is $23 per adult and $12 per child under the age of 12.
GAA members and/or Rams Club members receive a $5 discount.
